HTC announced the new HTC One M8 for Windows smartphone, the device for now is only available on Verizon Wireless in the US as an exclusive launch.
The Windows Phone M8 has the same aluminum shell, rounded corners, 5-inch, 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 chip, basically the only difference from its twin Android brother is that it runs Windows Phone 8.1.
The device runs the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1, with folders support, notification tray and Microsoft’s virtual personal assistant Cortana. HTC has also built a BlinkFeed app for Windows Phone that duplicates the experience found on Android.
HTC is said to release the phone to other markets soon.
