If you thought WiFi light bulbs are a thing, think again. Meet Beam, a projector that can plug into light socket.
The Beam Kickstarter project is an Android-powered projector that has the ability to fit into the light socket of a standard light bulb, giving users flexibly and creativity of projecting beyond the normal forward projection angles.
Beam supports Miracast and allows media broadcast from your smartphone or tablet into virtually any surface at a resolution of 854×480, and supports Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity, has 8GB of storage, and a pair of 2-watt speakers built into it.
The Beam projector also includes a bit of automation and can be set to switch on and off and defined times, launch youtube and execute other tasks as well.
