Lost your Android Device ? Look it up on Google search

Had a long night and suddenly realized you don’t have your mobile on you  ? For those of you who have a sorry habit of losing your phone, Google just made something that caters to you, and all you have to is type those three magic words on Google search.

If you type “find my phone” on Google, (this only works if you’re logged in on the browser with the same account as your Android phone) you’ll immediately get a map of the location of your phone and the ring option which will play on full volume to locate it, if you lost it in the confines of your own home.

If you’re not as lucky and your phone is indeed in the wrong hands, you have the option to lock and erase your phone before someone can get access to your valuable data or for some with mainly their dubious browser history. You do need to have Android Device Manager which is installed by default anyway but it does give you an extra layer of security before things can go wrong.

While this is quite the save from Google, I recommend you double check that you make sure you have your phone on you wherever you go.
