One of the most common complaints, if not the biggest one, is smartwatches and poor battery life. Naturally, due to their size, you’d need to recharge most of them by day end. However, it appears LG has found a new way to end this nightmare.
LG Chem, a division of LG, has developed a hexagonal-shaped battery that can boost life up to 25% compared to the standard rectangular batteries. The new battery is only designed for circular watches.

The hexagonal batteries, which are scheduled to go into production later this year. No official word yet on who might actually use these new batteries in their smartwatch productions.
