LG has announced its new LCD panel for smartphones. The new 5.3 inch Full HD LCD panel has the narrowest bezel till date with just a 0.7mm bezel on either sides.
LG has achieved the new display by combining the screen’s circuit board, touch panel, and backlight into one unit and used Neo Edge module processing technology that uses an adhesive to seal the edges of the circuit board which eliminates the need for a plastic guide to attach the panel to the LCD.
The company said it will begin production of the new display next month.
