LG has unveiled the 2nd generation Flex series device at CES 2015. The company has officially announced the G Flex2.
As per the press release, the 2nd generation G Flex maintains its curved back ranging from a radius of 400mm to 700mm across the front, back, sides and top-to-bottom edges which also brings the curve closer to the mouth for better sound pickup compared to the pervious model.
The G Flex 2 features a 5.5 inches screen (compared to the original’s 6-inch) with immersive viewing angles and a resolution of 1080p Full HD. The G Flex2 is also the first phone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor 64-bit Octa-Core CPU.
And of course, the Flex isn’t complete without the self healing back which keeps the phone brand new and scratch proof from normal daily use. LG said that they have reduced the healing time from three minutes to just ten seconds.
The LG G Flex2 will be available at month end in Korea to be followed by additional global markets later on.
