Lenovo introduced two new budget-friendly smartphones at MWC today: The Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus.
Both devices have a 5-inch display at 720p (for the K5) and 1080p for the Plus. While the Vibe K5 Snapdragon 415 inside, the K Plus packs a Snapdragon 616. Both devices have 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 2,750 mAh replaceable battery.
The all aluminum body stands at 8.2mm-thin and houses a 13MP Camera on the rear and 5MP on the front. The Vibe K 5 and K5 Plus come in black/white/gold and also feature “Dolby Atmos” stereo speakers and dual sim card slots.
Tablets
Lenovo also unveiled its new Tab series. The Tab3 7 with a resolution of 1024×600, comes with a MediaTek 1.0GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus a MicroSD slot, and a 5MP back camera with 2MP on the back.
The Tab3 8 with a resolution of 1280×800 is similar to the Tab3 7 but with additional features like LTE options, larger battery and with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM.
The largest of the tablets is the Tab3 10. The 10.1″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1200 with 2/3GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot. Additionally, the Tab3 10 is dust and splash-proof with an 8MP back camera and 3MP on the front. There are also dual speakers.
Windows 10
In addition to the smartphones and tablets, Lenovo unveiled the new Yoga 510, Yoga 710 laptops and the MIIX 310, a new Windows 10 based tablet.
The Yoga 710, with an FHD display at 1920×1080 comes in two models, an 11-inch powered by an Intel Core m5 processor and a 14-inch with a sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. Both devices feature Dolby Audio Premium speakers and deliver up to 8 hours of battery life. Of course, the Yoga 710 can can switch between being a laptop, stand, tent, and tablet.
The Yoga 510 will come in either a 14-inch and 15-inch model and offer up to Core i7 processors with optional AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GPUs. The Yoga 510 can deliver up to 8.5 hours of battery life.
The ideapad MIIX 310, is a 2-in-1 10-inch Windows 10 tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard, and provides up to 10 hours of battery life.
