Lenovo held its TechWorld event in Beijing, China and announced some cool concept devices for its future lineup of products alongside consumer ready products. Let’s have a look.

LENOVO MAGIC VIEW DUAL-SCREEN SMARTWATCH

The Lenovo Magic View is a concept smartwatch designed with one thing in mind, giving consumers more screen space. The Magic View offers a Virtual Interactive Display (VID) positioned between the watch main screen and the strap. The VID will allow viewing images at up to 20 times the size of the standard watch screen.
The display would only be readable up close allowing to view private information in public without compromising privacy.
LENOVO SMART CAST SMARTPHONE

Another concept design Lenovo revealed was the Smart Cast, an Android phone featuring the world’s first laser projector on a smartphone. Smart Cast allows users to project content onto a large wall or even project a keyboard onto a table surface.

LENOVO CAST

Cast is Lenovo’s answer to Google’s Chromecast. The Lenovo Cast supports DLNA, Miracast and connects to TV via HDMI. In addition to Android, Cast supports Windows 8.1 and iOS devices and operates through 5GHz Wi-Fi networks and 2.4GHz signals.
The device will be priced at $49 and will hit the shelves this August.
LENOVO VR GOOGLES

Lenovo has jumped into the Virtual Reality world and has announced the Lenovo VR Goggles. The virtual-reality headset is compatible with Lenovo Android phones and work similarly to Samsung’s wearable, it works by sliding a smartphone into the device and uses its display to provide an immersive 3D experience.
THINKPAD 10

ThinkPad 10, a Windows tablet that features a fingerprint reader. The tablet comes with a 10-inch 1900×1200 display reinforced with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by either an Intel Atom Z8500 chip (1.44 GHz quad-core processor with burst frequencies up to 2.24GHz) or an Atom Z8700 (1.6GHz quad-core CPU with burst frequencies up to 2.6GHz) and 4GB of LPDDR3-1600 RAM.
