Remember Jolla? no?
Jolla started in 2011 by Ex Nokia employees and introduced Sailfish, an open source operating system. Jolla operates out of offices in Helsinki and Tampere, Finland and Hong Kong.
Jolla has announced today that it will be releasing the first smartphone on November 27. Jolla made the announcement in Finland today and said that the device will go on sales in Helsinki at launch.
Jolla’s first smartphone runs Sailfish OS which is based on Mer, an open source OS which continues the previous work of MeeGo. Hardware wise the device has a 4.5-inch display, 16GB internal storage and a microSD slot, 4G-enabled.
