Last month, Google asked its fans to come up with ideasĀ and vote on what to nameĀ the latest version of Android. Last week,Ā GoogleĀ said it has finallyĀ decided on a name and will beĀ announcing it soon, and it looks like itās going to be really soon if you consider what Hiroshi Lockheimer, the senior vice presidentĀ Android, Chrome OS, and the Play store just tweeted :

If you look closely, the image shows Android apps like Twitter,Ā Microsoft Word running on ChromeOS, all part of new features announced during this yearās I/O. Ā In the background, you can also notice an open tab with āNutellaā mentioned in the search field,Ā which is a strong indication that this is the name Google is going for indeed.
Hiroshi Lockheimer also mentioned the name āNutellaā repeatedly on his twitter account before:
There's one specific dish on this menu that I'm keenly interested in. pic.twitter.com/3y5oj9c40x

I had to look up how to spell nougat. But I do know how to spell Nutella. https://t.co/XM3i9idhea

Apparently the name was picked last Feb.
I'm a huge fan of Nutella. https://t.co/ePN6vi4QzP

So. What do you think? is Lockheimer trying to mislead us? or isĀ Android N going to be called Android Nutella?
