If they do, then it’s insane and bigger than most laptops.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is piecing together a massive, android-powered tablet with an 18.4″ display. That is a really, really big screen – one that begs the question on why would someone wants something like this as a tablet.
Codenamed “Tahoe”, the 18.4″ tablet will come with a 1920×1080 resolution, an 8MP shooter on the back (how can someone hold a behemoth like that to take a photo is anyone’s guess), a 2.1MP front camera, 32GB storage (with MicroSD for expansion), and 2GB of RAM. It’s run with an 8-core Exynos 7580.
The specs are kind of underwhelming, given the massive real estate one can engineer better specs into (2GB of RAM seems to pave the way to a lot of disappointment). In the case that Samsung really is working on such a tablet, would be interesting to see who would be the target given its massive size and underwhelming specs.
