It’s kinda odd to talk about iPhone 7 rumors while we’re in the middle of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus rollout right? But hey, it’s never to early I guess.
Rumors have surfaced out of China (of course) about next year’s iPhone 7; the news suggests that the next generation device will be water resistant and will have an even stronger and newly designed unibody construction.
Chinese site Weibo, Mac Otakara said that prototype “iPhone 7” units are being produced with waterproof and dust-proof features.
This week, water tests showed fully functioning iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus submerged for 60 minutes underwater. Apple hasn’t mentioned any IP certification, so take this as a “DO NOT TRY AT HOME” warning.
