As of May 2014, Apple’s iPhone 5s remains the world’s top selling smartphone.
According to new data released on Monday by Counterpoint Technology Market Research, Apple’s iPhone 5s was the best selling smartphone in the world throughout the month of May and maintaining its lead since late 2013. Samsung’s Galaxy S5 was at a “distant number two.”
Apple’s iPhone 5c and iPhone 4S took the 5th and 6th places, respectively, while Samsung’s Galaxy S4 took 3rd place, Galaxy Note 3 (4th), Galaxy S4 mini (8th), and Galaxy Grand 2 took the 10th place.
Counterpoint’s survey was done across 35 countries.
