Instagram is starting to send out “highlights” emails to users aimed at making life easier when it comes to catching up to every photo posted.
The emails are sent in the form of “Highlights” (Similar to Twitter’s “While you were away“) which lists the best posts from some of the accounts you follow.
Instagram has confirmed to TechCrunch that this is the first promotional email they are sending out. Users can unsubscribe from the “Highlights” if they wish to.
