Huawei is rumoured to update six of its phones to Android Nougat — as well as EMUI 5 — sometime in the first quarter of 2017.
These devices are the Mate 8, P9 / P9 Plus /P9 Lite, Nova and Nova Plus. As for the Honor, the Honor 8 will be getting the update in the next few weeks. While no exact date has been given to the Nougat update, Huawei is speculated to issue it in Q1 2017, so we hope that this is an indication that android users won’t have to wait too long for future updates.
