Let’s go ahead and talk about some features that are different than other HTC devices that you’ll find in this amazing new phone

Camera: (8MP front, 13MP back)

Live makeup gives you a face effect that actually makes your face look like you’ve had it done. This could be very handy for all the girls taking selfies 😉 Especially when you have the biggest ever front facing camera carrying a 8MP sensor.

Photo booth lets you combine all your photos you just took in a single picture, this can replace many applications and really help those who prefer using in-app feature in the camera instead of using Apps with lots of restrictions.

Face fusion is a feature that lets you take a photo of someone else and “fuse” his face into yours, it’s a fun feature and can be used to make lots of funny photos!

Design and build:

The phone is made of hard plastic and has a similar design language that of the HTC Desire 816. However HTC has named their new design the “Duo color” where the bezels are surrounded by another color, in this case blue.

The phone also have the amazing BoomSound speaker, which are the best front speakers on any device, for a precise, loud and fun music experience. The Boomsound speakers are already available on other HTC devices, but never hurts to talk about a feature that is so good, HTC brought it to even non-flagship device.

In the software department the phone is skinned by HTC Sense 6, no different improvements there.

What do you think about the new HTC Desire 820? Is it a huge leap for android smartphones?
