The last few years haven’t exactly been easy for HTC, but it look like things are finally beginning to change.
HTC has posted its first quarterly revenue growth in more than three years.
Fourth-quarter sales figures registered $1.5 billion up from $1.3 billion, the first gain since the third quarter of 2011. The new mid-range handsets like the desire series helped achieve this growth. Some of the key markets that helped HTC grow were China and India.
According to Canaccord Genuity analyst Michael Walkley, HTC’s sales were slightly above expectations due to “stronger hardware shipments,” with the Nexus 9 being more successful than what was originally anticipated.
