Etsy, the marketplace for handmade goods may soon face its biggest challenge to date, Amazon.com.
Amazon is apparently targeting Etsy sellers by email and asking them to fill an online form that collects info about their business and the items they sell. The form lists categories from Accessories, Baby, Beauty & Personal Care, Grocery & Gourmet, Home & Kitchen to Pet Supplies and more.

Etsy, which began trading as a public company on the Nasdaq exchange, connects buyers and sellers of arts and crafts, generating revenue from listing fees and commissions on sold items.
