Remember project ARA?
Google has scheduled the first software developer’s conference for Project Ara.
Ara, is a customizable smartphone concept that can be upgraded with a quick add ons of blocks. The event is set to take place at the Computer History Museum in the heart of Silicon Valley in April.
Google said it wants to sell offer the Ara frame to consumers starting at $50 and selling the rest of the components at different prices.
Google sold Motorola Mobility to Chinese tech company Lenovo, but retained ATAP (Motorola’s Advanced Tech and Projects).
