Google’s own employees think Nest “is a terrible buggy product”

When Google’s own employee takes time to diss the company’s product, you know there’s a problem.

Brad Fitzpatrick, a Googler, has posted a video showing how buggy Google-owned Nest Protect smoke alarm is. The video shows how Nest Protect alarms keeps going on for no reason with Fitzpatrick struggling to switch them off.

Fitzpatrick also pointed out on his Google+ page that the Nest Protect has a habit of getting confused and triggering a false alarm.

Google acquired Nest for $3 billion last year.
