According to app developers who received an email from Google, the company may release a kid-friendly version of Google Play during this year’s Google I/O.
As per the email (below), Google has given Android developers a deadline for submitting apps and games they want to publish on the new “Designed for Families” section of the Play Store. The deadline, May 28th, coincides with the first day of the Google I/O developer conference.
“Designed for Families” store was first announced back in April.
