Google has launched a new third-party keyboard for iOS devices called Gboard.
GBoard brings the power of Google Search and integrates it within the keyboard area. Users can search Google from Twitter, Facebook, messages without leaving the specific app they’re on. Google’s aim with this keyboard is to reduce the use of copy and paste to grab information and thus eliminating the need to switch between apps.

Google has also included Glyde typing in the Gboard keyboard.
On Android we’ve it really easy to get quick access to information for our users. We’ve built things like Now On Tap, and a quick search bar, says Gboard project lead Rajan Patel. On iOS, we’ve found from our own usage that it’s a little more difficult to get quick access to information.
Gboard looks very similar to iOS’s keyboard, with the addition of the Google icon on the left side of the suggestion bar. Once you tap on it, a search bar appears where you can type in the query.
GBoard is now available on the US iTunes store and will roll out to other countries soon.
