Material design was the hype at Google IO this year, bringing the biggest android design change in years.
The Play Store version 4.9.13 is out and Material Design has its signature all over it. The navigation and overall UI is left nearly untouched but the differences are visible in the app/content pages.
Some of the changes:
- Change logs are now only visible to those who have apps installed
- Images and trailers have a bigger focus
- App descriptions go full-screen.
- App’s size and version information have been moved to the app’s description.
- The +1 and sharing button have been relocated below the featured reviews.
