It seems that Google’s retail division has been busy recently. After opening its first physical store in London 2 days ago, it has now launched its first dedicated online store with free shipping. It seems Google is taking queues from Apple’s online and physical stores success and expansion with this new direction.
The store is only available for the US market at the moment, however, when accessed from the UAE a message appeared saying that they’re working on bringing it to more countries as soon as possible.

We are still able to access the US store though and those with VPN and Shop and Ship accounts can easily place their orders at will.
The store currently features all of Google’s flagship products including, the Nexus 9 and 6, Chromebook Pixel, Chromecast and Nest, among others.
This is definitely a step in the right direction for Google in making its products more visible and accessible to the world and poses a threat to physical and online retailers which rely on Google’s lack of reach in marking up their products and selling them at a much higher cost, especially here in the Middle East.
The store can be accessed here.
