Google has officially released the much awaited Nexus 5, powered by Android 4.4 KitKat available for $350 and $400 (16GB and 32GB) on the Play Store.
The Nexus 5′s hardware specs are impressive: It Holds a 4.95-inch 1920×1080 IPS display (445 PPI) with Gorilla Glass 3, an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a Snapdragon 800 (quad-core Krait CPU, Adreno 330 GPU), a 2300 mAh battery, built-in wireless charging and the usual NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and 4G LTE connectivity. The Nexus 5 is 8.59mm thick, 137.84mm long, 69.17mm wide, and it weighs in at 130 grams.
In addition to that, Google is also offering accessories for the Nexus 5.
Google announced two cases for the Nexus 5, first, a bumper case which is made of a hard shell with a soft rubber on the inside and the second is a quick cover case from LG for the Nexus 5, and is basically the bumper case with a flap attached to it in order to protect the front screen.

Google also introduced a new Qi wireless charger which is said to support the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2013).

As for Android 4.4 “KitKat”, Google released a developer video detailing the changes.
