Google Now is embracing change. The company has revealed that Google Now will have an open API available soon, giving developers the ability to integrate the service into their apps.
Google Now will basically read app patterns and usage to display relevant cards for users, and will take into account users’ ‘personal circumstances’. Google has also said that in the next 6-12 months, product engineers will survey thousands of user patterns, identify trends and integrate notification into Google Now.
Google Now currently works with 40 third-party services in a pilot program. No timeline has been given about an exact launch date yet.
