Earlier this year, Google suspended its Glass program after they announced that the product didn’t have enough impact and said that the next version of the product will be overseen by Tony Fadell, the head of Nest home automation.
Now, new information has revealed that the next Google Glass is being developed by Luxottica, a premium eyewear maker from Italy.
Massimo Vian, CEO of Luxottica, revealed their partnership with Google and said that the next Glass is going ahead. Van didn’t give any indication on release date.
We hope to hear more about the next generation Google Glass during Google I/O in May.
