As part of Abu Dhabi’s Summer Season, the second part of Fun Nation resumes at the du Forum, Yas Island from Thursday, July 28 until Saturday, August 6, welcoming the worlds of fashion and gaming. Following the success of the first part of Fun Nation, that welcomed thousands of visitors to enjoy the worlds of sports and cooking, this second installment will be bursting at the seams to keep everyone cool and entertained. Tickets start from the price of AED 20 daily from 2pm to 10pm.

Calling all gaming fans!
- Cosplay Competition: Fanatics can participate in a super-charged cosplay competition for a chance to win from a prize pool of AED 10,000. The cosplay competition will take place on Saturday, August 6; and participants can register at https://info.thinkflash.ae/cosplay before this Thursday, July 28. For the ones wanting to create and style their own costume without having to buy one should attend our live cosplay workshops!
- Celebrity Signings: Gaming fans have the unique chance to meet their favourite celebrities including Charles Martinet, the voice of Super Mario, and international cosplayer Yaya Han, who will both be in attendance at Fun Nation for signing and photo sessions from Thursday, August 4 to Saturday, August 6!
- Tournament Zones: Fans can also test their limits at the gaming area with tournaments taking place throughout the 10 days including: FIFA16, Super Smash Bros. and Street Fighter V, with finals being held on the main stage on Friday, July 29 and Thursday, August 4 and Friday, August 5. Each game has a prize pool of AED 10,000 to be won!
- Arcade and Retro Games Zones: For gamers who want to experience the golden age of arcade video games or step back in time with the ultimate retro video games experience and relive those epic adventures – now they can!
- TeacherGaming: Parents, who ever thought video gaming was a waste of time, should think again! TeacherGaming strives to teach kids the skills they would learn in the classroom through video games instead. Stimulating workshops revolving around various themes including engineering, space exploration and gaming languages will be held from Thursday, July 28 to Saturday, July 30 and the goal of each workshop is to engage participants in a fun and meaningful way.
- VR Zone: It’s time to go virtual! From the Oculus Rift to the HTC Vive, no one will be disappointed with what there is in store for you at Fun Nation! You’ll be in the game; literally.

Fashionistas get ready for the runway!
- Ladies Zone: From Thursday, July 28 to Saturday, August 6, leading fashion expert, Joelle Mardinian will be bringing her well-renowned beauty house to the ladies zone and will be taking the stage for a career talk on Friday, August 5. In addition, Kelly Lundberg, celebrity stylist, will also be available to give the best personal styling and shopping tips. Ladies can also enjoy free skincare consultations with Dr. A. R. Shamma Medical Center.
- Refresh and Renew: Daily workshops will have event goers turn the old into something new with on-trend clothes up-cycling. Bring that little black dress back to life in the clothing customisation zone, or even pool items at the ‘Swap Shop’.
- Shows and Workshops: Enjoy the best of fashion with shows by Designer 24, USH Boutique and many more! Anyone who loves hand-embroidery and painted fabrics should not miss out on the workshops by Aiisha Ramadan and Soul Art Centre. Want to learn more about fashion? Then be inspired with the talks by a representative from London College of Fashion.

The spotlight’s on the kids with these fabulous shows and plenty of dressing up.
- Shaun the Sheep, Blitzer and Flock: The world’s most famous sheep is back with his friends for a brand new stage show ‘Dancing with Shaun’ taking over the main stage.
- MBC’s Banat W Bass: Aimed at girls aged 10-13, the trendy programme’s team of specialists will be encouraging selected participants to make differences to their lifestyles.
- Championsheeps: There are loads of fun games to play at the Championsheeps. Take your complete reward card to the finale podium to get a badge and your photo taken.
