Sources have confirmed to 9To5Mac that ‘Force Touch’ and haptic feedback is coming to the next iPhone – the iPhone 6s for now – and Apple is working with developers to integrate the feature into their apps.
Features of Force Touch include dropping pins on Apple’s Maps, pressure-sensitive scrolling in media player, quickly adding events to Calendar as well as looking up word definitions.
Since Force Touch is going to be integrated with iOS 9, future iPad hardware could also be seeing Force Touch.
