Today Facebook turns 12 and wants to celebrate it with its users.
The social network giant is sending a Friends Day video card to everyone today that features photos of users and their friends in special moments. You should see your own Friends Day video popping up today and can also watch it by clicking “watch yours” at the bottom of a friends’ video when they share it. You can also customize your Friends Day clips before you share them.
That’s what the best movements do. You find ways to keep it focused on the needs of the community, and it’s not about you. And that’s the whole point of Friends Day. We felt like the world was making it too much about us and it’s not about us, Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement.
