Facebook could be redesigning the iPhone app, according to TechCrunch. Borrowing design elements from Path, the new UI does away with the messenger icon (finally separating the messaging app from the main Facebook app) and replacing it with a fly-out menu, similar to Path. The fly-out menu gives quick access to posting a new update, sharing/taking photos and checking into locations.
Recently, we have seen a couple of changes to Facebook’s iPhone app – activated server side – that soon disappeared. It appears that Facebook may be redesigning the iPhone app, but whether we ultimately see these changes is anyone’s guess.
