Remember Facebook Notes? It’s a feature that has risen out of the blue, gained traction, and subsequently became largely irrelevant with the saturation of blogs and the removal of the character cap on status updates.
Facebook intends to remind people that the service still exists and encourages them to use it with the new face-lift, which gives you the ability to add a custom header image, various text formatting options (headers, bullets, quotes) and image manipulation.
Blogging isn’t like it used to be back in 2006, but Facebook Notes can be a good way to cater to your friends or wider audience without having to worry about maintaining a separate website, identity, or technicalities. And hey, Facebook comments.
