Facebook announced that it will be bringing video profiles very soon, and the company has already started rolling out the service to more users.

The new feature allows you to record a short looping clip, which will then become your profile photo (think of it as an animated GIF). The new photo will be bigger and will take centre-stage on your profile. You can also add a “timer” to your images, should you wish to upload a profile photo in support of a specific cause or event for a limited time only. You can also add a one-liner to better describe your fabulous self.
Expect to get the feature very soon, and get creative!
