Etisalat revamps eLife Value Packs. Users get double broadband speeds for free

Etisalat’s eLife customers in the UAE can now enjoy a major speed upgrade experience as the telco completes doubling its fibre-based Internet speeds for eLife triple play value bundle customers, at no extra cost. The increase in home Internet speeds for the same price is part of Etisalat’s revamp of the eLife Value Pack offering, catering to the needs of its customers. The new eLife proposition is now bundled as ‘Family’, ‘Sports’, ‘Entertainment’ and ‘Premium’.

The largest and first free, automatic and simultaneous mass upgrade provides at least double the speed for select eLife customers under contract across the UAE. As an example, customers subscribed to eLife Sports Pack with 20 Mbps speed are automatically upgraded, free of charge, to 50 Mbps home Internet speed. Customers subscribed to other eLife Lite packages and Value Packs will also experience a speed boost with varying levels of speed increases. New home service customers too will enjoy the benefits of higher speeds at lower rates.

The rebranded ‘Family’, ‘Sports’, ‘Entertainment’ and ‘Premium’ eLife Packs now combine higher broadband speeds with a selection of high-quality and premium television content, all new devices, unlimited superfast broadband and unlimited national voice calls, with no change in price.

Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Consumer Officer at Etisalat, said, “At Etisalat, we know what makes our customers happy – simplicity, flexibility, value and service. The proliferation of smartphones and tablets means that our customers at home today have increased access to data and speed demanding rich media and video. In our commitment to deliver what our home customers demand, we have custom-packaged the most engaging content, superfast broadband speeds and high quality voice calling at an attractive price point, catering to the interest and usage habits of different segments. As a first in the UAE home market, we are excited to offer double the broadband speeds to our customers for free. The upgrade for new and existing triple play customers is part of our efforts to continue meeting our customers’ insatiable demand for data and connectivity at a great price, allowing them to unlock the full potential of Etisalat’s nationwide fibre-optic network.

“The speed upgrade is part of the eLife value bundle revamp, which now consists of the new Family, Sports, Entertainment and Premium packs. The new packs are well-rounded options with rich content catering to varying viewing needs of our customers”
