While Google Fiber is still a ways off, Etisalat is starting the new year with two new ultra-fast internet bundles for UAE residential customers. The ‘eLife Ultimate 1G’ and ‘eLife Premium 500’ plans are expected to enrich the home entertainment experience for the ISP’s customers with eLife TV, Internet and fixed telephone service.

The eLife Premium 500 plan offers customers a download speed of 500Mbps and an upload speed of 50Mbps as well as a “premium router” which will be managed by Etisalat, “ensuring the best levels of service, 365 days a year via our remote support capabilities.”
Subscribers of the plan will also get over 200 free to air channels, the eLife Basic TV package, the BeIN sports package, Abu Dhabi Sports package & video packs. Furthermore, customers will also get eLife ON, Etisalat’s TV anywhere service, letting them watch movies and shows on the go. An eLife TV HD Recorder Box is also included.
Lastly, subscribers of the Premium 500 plan will also be able to avail the 7,500 minutes of free international and national calls included each month as part of the subscription.
Meanwhile, if you’re thirsty for more, you can opt for the eLife Ultimate 1G package and its monstrous speeds. Customers will get 1Gbps download speeds and 100Mbps upload speeds, a premium Wi-Fi supporter with the same perks as the Premium 500 plan and 3 wireless repeaters that will be professionally installed.
Meanwhile, the included TV package for eLife Ultimate 1G includes OSN Platinum Extra HD, beIN Sports, AD Sports, Extreme Sports, 200 free to air channels, STARZPlay and video OnDemand, as well as eLife ON.
For calls, users will be able to avail the 2,000 minutes per month of international calls to over 160 countries and 2,000 minutes of national calls including fixed to mobile per month.
