A window cleaner in Abu Dhabi who was left clinging for his life 10 floors above ground after the scaffold he was on suffered a technical failure, was guided to safety by an Abu Dhabi Security Media drone.
The state-of-the-art device was then flown to the cleaner’s aid, identified the problem then, using its audio and visual capabilities, calmed the man down and instructed him on how to deal with the situation.
After the drone identified the fault, emergency services fixed the scaffold and were able to bring the man to safety.
