Dinosaurs could be making a comeback in the next five years

We’ve seen all Jurassic Park movies, and none of them end well…..

It appears that a group of scientists, some who consulted for Jurassic Park, are leading a genetic research that could bring dinosaurs back to life within the next five to 10 years.

Dr. Jack Horner, who has consulted on all four Jurassic films, ruled out recreating the prehistoric creatures from ancient DNA but now turned to another source: CHICKEN!

Horner told People magazine: “So we just need to fix them so they look a little more like a dinosaur.” The team has made significant breakthroughs in mutating chickens back to the very creatures from which they descended.
Actually, the wings and hands are not as difficult, Horner said, adding that a ‘Chickensoraus’ — as he calls the creation — is well on its way to becoming reality. The tail is the biggest project. But on the other hand, we have been able to do some things recently that have given us hope that it won’t take too long.
The proof of concept has been accomplished, Horner said. Recently a team from Yale and Harvard have managed to retro-engineer [a bird’s] beak back into a dinosaur-looking mouth.

Here’s Jack Horner on Talks at Google, discussing the subject among other things.

This is not gonna be pretty! 😂
