Google Inc has just signed a new partnership with BlackBerry. Both companies will be working to create a more secure version of Android for enterprise.
Android is currently one of the most popular mobile operating systems, but is still not the most popular choice for business use, but with this alliance, Google is aiming to change this perception by strengthening its business platform through new levels of hardware encryption, better and more secure integration with GooglePlay for Work and application management.
The new deal will see devices with Android 5.0 Lollipop get updated with the enterprise security features included in BlackBerry’s BES12 system.
Blackberries running Android are indeed coming.
