If you thought that the Apple MagSafe was a thing for the past, think again! Griffin just came to the rescue in CES 2016.
One of the biggest complaints about Apple’s 12-inch MacBook has been the USB-C port that is used for everything, including charging and of course, with that we saw the disappearance of Apple’s much loved MagSafe….until now.
Griffin has announced a BreakSafe Magnetic USB-C Power Cable that brings back the safe magnetic mechanism to the MacBook. The BreakSafe has two parts, a 12.8mm plug that goes into the USB-C port of the MacBook and a second extension, which is a cable that connects magnetically to the 12.8mm plug.
You can now trip over your cables with peace of mind!
The BreakSafe Magnetic USB-C Power Cable is priced at $40 and ships in April.
