BlackBerry is working with Boeing to build their high-security Android-based smartphone.
The Boeing Black phone (Boeing Black) which is currently under development encrypts calls and is aimed at government agencies and companies that need to keep communications secure, the phone can self-destruct if it is tampered with.
We’re pleased to announce that Boeing is collaborating with BlackBerry to provide a secure mobile solution for Android devices utilizing our BES 12 platform, BlackBerry CEO John Chen said.
The Boeing phone uses dual SIM cards and can be configured to connect with biometric sensors and satellites as well.
It seems blackberry is slowly regaining its momentum by partnering with companies like Ford and now Boeing.
