It looks like blackberry isn’t going to give up yet. 2 new smartphones are coming this year.
According to BlackBerry CEO John Chen, who spoke at CES 2014. Blackberry has signed a deal with Foxconn to manufacture touch screen smartphones. The first of the 2 handsets will be priced under $200, Chen also hinted to another high end device that would be designed entirely in-house.
“We’re not retreating from the consumer business,” Chen said.
“For emerging markets, BlackBerry will let Foxconn take a bigger role. But we will do the next set of cool phones.”
