ASUS have announced a number of new products at IFA 2014, here are the details:
The ZenWatch
ASUS’ first smartwatch has finally been unveiled. The Android Wear-powered ZenWatch packs a 1.63-inch, 320 x 320 AMOLED touchscreen protected by a piece of curved Gorilla Glass 3. The smartwatch is made of a curved stainless-steel case that is accompanied by astitched-leather strap. The ZenWatch has ZenUI integration and can offer 100s of customisable themes. The ZenWatch includes apps and features like Watch unlock, tap tap, find my phone, cover to mute, presentation control and wellness manager.
ASUS EeeBook X205
The ASUS EeeBook X205 is an 11.6-inch Windows 8.1 laptop, with a full width keyboard, weighing at 980g and priced at just $199.
The MeMo Pad 7
The MeMo pad Packs a new Intel Atom 64-bit quad-core chip at 1.83GHz, with a new look, a screen upgrade to 1,920 x 1,200 resolution (323 ppi).
The new Android 4.4 tablet is also thinner at 8.3mm and slimmer at 269 grams wrapped in a fiberglass body. The internals include 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, up to 64GB of microSD expansion, up to 16GB of free cloud storage, dual speakers and 5MP/2MP cameras.
ASUS’ Zenbook UX305
the new UX305 is an all-aluminum Ultrabook that packs a 13.3-inch 3,200 x 1,800 (276 ppi) display, 12.3mm thick and is labeled the world’s slimmest laptop in its class of screen resolution.
The UX305 weighs in at 1.2kg and comes in two colors option, the “Obsidian Stone” or “Ceramic Alloy”.
