Following on last year’s “Misunderstood” ad, Apple is back with another holiday ad.
“The Song”, features Apple products but in a subtle way and focuses on a girl who finds an old 45 rpm record of her grandmother singing “Love Is Here To Stay”. The record, was gift from her grandmother to her grandfather back in 1952.
The girl then uses Apple products and software to turn the oldie into a duet and leaves it with note and an iPad mini on the table for her grandmother.
As usual, Apple did not take your standard christmas approach, but went for a simple storyline of a girl who wants to give a loved one something special.
