While his sexual orientation wasn’t really a secret, Apple CEO Tim Cook publicly came out and confirmed he is gay in an opinion piece for human rights and equality published on Businessweek.
Cook said, by revealing his sexuality in public, he hopes to help others as part of Apple’s efforts against discrimination.
While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven’t publicly acknowledged it either, until now, writes Cook. So let me be clear: I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me.
