The Apple Watch will start shipping in April according to Apple CEO Tim Cook during. Cook revealed the date during Apple’s Q1 2015 earnings call.
Development for the Apple Watch is right on schedule, Cook said.
The Apple Watch which was originally announced in September of last year and is the company’s first entirely new product since the the birth of the iPad, which was unveiled five years ago.
The Apple Watch will sell at $349, and needs an iPhone to connect online. Among other things, the device will track your fitness, send / receive messages and will come in two different sizes and three different collections: Watch, Watch Sport, Watch Edition.
Users will have the choice to customise the watch with six different straps, like a sport band, a leather loop, a classic leather buckle or a stainless steel strap.
I’m using it every day, and love it, and I can’t live without it, Cook said on the call.
