The Apple Support app first made its appearance last November, debuting in the Netherlands. It was an unusual choice, considering that Apple prefers the US as its testing grounds, something that rang true a month later when the app was made available in the US, along with Turkey and Sweden. Now, you can add 18 more countries to that list.
The Apple Support app was created to serve as an intuitive way of accessing Apple’s support system. Users could use it to get links to chat, phone or email with Apple’s support lines and it could also be used for scheduling appointments with a Genius Bar or other service providers. It also identifies devices associated with an Apple ID and displays guides for common tasks and issues.
Now the new list of countries that support the app are as follows:
- Australia
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Hong Kong
- Ireland
- Italy
- Japan
- Liechtenstein
- Macau
- Mexico
- Netherlands
- Singapore
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Turkey
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- United States
