Every Summer parents rack their brains, trying to come up with summer activities for their children. Something that would respect their interests but at the same time challenge them. What better way to solve this problem, with Summer Camp, a three day FREE workshop held in Apple Stores in Mall of Emirates, Dubai and Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi over three consecutive weeks in July and August where kids aged 8-12 can bring their imaginations to life.
The Apple Store will offer kids a variety of programs tailored just for them. Youth Workshops, Field Trips and Apple Summer Camp are great ways to get kids thinking, learning and creating — all while having fun.
Apple Summer Camp is designed to help spark the imagination of kids aged 8 to 12. They’ll learn to make films by storyboarding ideas, shooting video and creating an original soundtrack. Campers can create interactive books complete with their own illustrations and sound effects. Each workshop ends with the Apple Summer Camp Showcase so kids can share their finished projects.
Parents will have the option to register for one of two/three topics: Stories in Motion with iMovie and Interactive Storytelling with iBooks
