Apple has launched the official Android app for Apple Music. The Android version of Apple Music provides users with access to their purchases from Apple’s iTunes store. After downloading and installing Apple Music from Google Play, users can begin a free trial or log in as an existing subscriber.
The app is nearly identical to iOS with “For You” tab, which pulls playlists and recommendations based on listening habits. The “New” tab features new music and playlists created by the Apple Music editors. “Radio” features Beats 1 (not in the Middle East unfortunately) as well as multiple genre stations, in addition to the Connect section.
The app is now available in beta to download from the Google Play store.
