The big day is here, the new music streaming service from Apple, Apple Music is now live with iOS 8.4. The new service is available in the UAE part of the 100 countries Apple promised to roll out to at launch and lives in the updated music app and will be combined with your iTunes playlists and the rest of your iTunes library.
Once launched you’ll be greeted with an Apple Music wallpaper, then taken to a page where you will be able to choose if you want start your 3 months free trial or go directly to your music, which is already stored on your phone or on the cloud.
Once you select the 3 months free trial, you’ll need to choose a membership plan which will be activated at the end of the free trial.
Pricing
AED19.99 (around $5.5) per month is the price tag for a single subscription. Users can also pay AED29.99 ($8.5) per month for a family plan for up to six users. We are guessing the pricing in lower in the middle east due to the limited music library available in the U.S or Europe.
What is Apple Music & what does it feature?
Apple Music is an on-demand music subscription service opening access to Apple’s music library for $9.99 a month on iOS devices – iPhones, iPads, Macs, PCs initially and with Apple TV and Android devices following later this year.
The service will combines your own purchased music with Apple’s library of songs, in addition to curated music by a team of music editors. Tracks can also be downloaded for offline listening.
Apple Music will also feature its own radio station. “Beats 1” will broadcast live with DJs like Zane Lowe from Los Angeles, Ebro Darden of Hot 97 in New York, and Julie Adenuga in London. Beats 1 will feature a songs, interviews, pop culture news and is commercial-free for now.

Apple Music’s “connect” tab will let artists give their fans a closer look at their work and gives users the ability to share comments, pictures, videos and interact with them.
