For the third year in a row, Apple has topped a list of the world’s most valuable brands according to Best Global Brands report, which is released annually.
How do these rankings come to life? The New York Times says it’s all done taking into consideration with a company’s revenues, its influence on purchasing and brand loyalty.
Apple takes on the first position again this year with a brand value of $170 billion followed by Google at number two with an estimated value of $120 billion. Additionally, Apple was also ranked as the top riser in the listings with 43% increase.
Coca Cola ranks third while Microsoft climbs to number four. Samsung held its position as number seven, while Amazon climbed from number 15 to number 10.
